Victoria Beckham steered away from her signature body-hugging silhouettes in the A/W 2011 collection at New York Fashion Week this year with her 'sack' dresses and 'hooded nomad' style pieces.
Featured on the cover of VOGUE UK February this year, the article completely changed my mind about the former spice girl. I was always of the opinion that VB was a bit of a stuck-up bitch, but after reading the piece I find myself looking at her designs in a new way.
I was not the only one who doubted her potential as a designer, critics to this day still have doubts she designs the clothes herself. The rigid structured dresses of her collection didn't help the way I perceived this former WAG, but this year my opinion is entirely different:
She must be nice to have married someone so hot really!
Alexander Wang made a bit of a comeback at his Show this week, reverting back to his typically cool and slightly grungy ways. Last season Wang received mixed reviews when his collection shocked and deviated from his usual style. Although this collection seemed to revert exactly back to where he was before, (almost like a dog with his tail between his legs) Wang's celebrity studded audience were pleasantly pleased with his AW/2011 collection.
